About the Role

The AI Innovation Associate will contribute to the evolution of SYPartners' consulting practices by pioneering the application of generative AI. They will imagine, prototype, and deploy innovative AI-infused workflows and tools, reshaping client engagement and enterprise operations. The role involves blending technical skills with strategic and creative thinking, fostering AI literacy across teams, and supporting technological transformation with empathy and care at SYPartners, a firm that collaborates with leaders to envision new possibilities and build cultures of competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with teams across the firm to identify opportunities where generative AI can significantly enhance creativity, efficiency, and impact.
Rapidly conceptualize and prototype AI-driven tools and solutions that address both specific client needs and broader operational challenges.
Work alongside multidisciplinary teams from the Consulting Practice and Internal Partners to implement and refine AI solutions, ensuring alignment and usability.
Foster AI literacy throughout the firm by sharing knowledge, insights, and practical applications, empowering teams to embrace AI confidently.
Develop clear, concise, and engaging documentation and training materials that enable easy adoption of AI-driven innovations.
Conduct research on emerging AI technologies and methodologies, synthesizing findings into practical applications and recommendations.
Actively support business development and proposal activities by contributing AI-focused perspectives and insights.

Requirements

1-3 years of experience working with AI technologies, particularly generative models like GPT and associated frameworks (e.g., LangChain).
Strong foundational skills in Python programming and experience with AI deployment frameworks such as Flask or FastAPI.
Demonstrable proficiency with “vibe coding” leveraging Cursor, Windsurf, or comparable IDE platform to build and refine full-stack prototypes rapidly.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and creative-thinking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Practical work experience demonstrating proficiency in AI technologies and relevant technical skills is strongly preferred.
Based in the New York Tri-State Area, available for in-person work 2 days per week in our New York City office.

Benefits & Perks

Freelance opportunity at approximately $6,500 to $7,500 monthly, with potential to convert to full-time.
Upon full-time conversion, the anticipated salary range is $80k - $90k.
