About the Role

The AI Product Manager GTM at Palo Alto Networks is a strategic role focused on leading the transformation of sales and partner workflows through the application of Artificial Intelligence. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative AI-driven solutions that enhance sales processes, and serving as a product leader and AI evangelist within a company committed to cybersecurity innovation and a strong, inclusive culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead AI Transformation by architecting and championing strategies to leverage AI for creating more intelligent and efficient sales and partner workflows.
  • Identify high-impact opportunities, design innovative solutions, and lead cross-functional initiatives from concept to deployment.
  • Partner closely with data science, engineering, architecture, and business teams (Sales, Finance, Operations) to deliver cutting-edge AI features that solve real-world business problems.
  • Develop into a Product Leader by managing a product roadmap, defining success metrics (KPIs), and mastering the end-to-end product lifecycle.
  • Act as an AI Evangelist by serving as the subject matter expert on applying AI to quote-to-cash and partner processes, educating stakeholders, and influencing the long-term vision for sales technology.

Requirements

  • Must be in the SF Bay Area to be onsite.
  • Proven track record leading complex, cross-functional initiatives focused on automating or transforming business workflows using AI, Machine Learning, or related technologies.
  • 2-5 years of experience in roles such as Technical Product Manager, AI Strategist, or Solutions Architect, or recent Master's degree with substantive AI project experience.
  • Deep understanding of translating business challenges into technical AI solutions and collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong interest in learning Product Management principles and the specifics of sales technology stacks.
  • Familiarity with enterprise sales processes (like Quote-to-Cash) or platforms such as Salesforce and CPQ is a plus but not required.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and influencing skills.
  • Proactive, self-starter with an owner's mindset, results-driven attitude, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a technical field like Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with enterprise sales platforms like Salesforce and CPQ.

  • Starting base salary between $150,000 - $210,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
