The role of Analyst, Analytics, is based at Toyota Headquarters in Plano, TX, with onsite work Monday-Thursday and remote work on Fridays. Key Responsibilities

Uncover business needs and the true questions that the company is trying to answer in order to properly frame your analysis
Leverage SQL/Python/R coding skills to pull and organize data needed for analysis
Find insights buried in the data by applying creative problem-solving, data exploration, and quantitative analytical skills, including statistical methods
Assess the quantitative and qualitative impacts of possible actions based on insights, considering customers, employees, and the company
Recommend actions based on insights by telling data-supported stories through presentations, data visualizations, and clear communication
Coordinate with various stakeholders to help implement and measure recommended actions
Build relationships with key stakeholders across Toyota such as Sales, Marketing, Servicing, Insurance, Risk, Technology, Legal/Compliance, Finance, Treasury
Continuously improve analytical, technical, communication, and people skills through training and on-the-job experience
Become a subject matter expert in your business area by understanding its strategies, processes, policies, and data
Guide and mentor other analysts on best practices for analysis and data storytelling

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or higher in Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Computer Science, Economics, Engineering or similar analytical/STEM field
Demonstrated relevant experience coding in SQL, Python and/or R
Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau
Creative and quantitative problem-solving skills with strengths in data acquisition, manipulation, cleaning, analysis, and presentation of results
Basic statistics knowledge
Presentation skills including proposing strategic recommendations and clearly articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Intellectual curiosity and a desire to understand and find the truth in data
Ability to collaborate with others

Nice to Have

MBA or Master's degree in an analytical field
Background in Auto Finance or Consumer Lending industries
Professional experience in one or more areas covered by the Analytics Job Family
Intermediate to advanced statistics knowledge

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant analytical or STEM field
