About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Direct performance for assigned departments related to nursing indicators.
• Oversee and conduct indicator data analysis including benchmarking and trending.
• Support departments and teams to ensure accuracy and integration of data from various sources.
• Organize and coordinate data management activities, including research on data variances.
• Prepare and present data findings to staff responsible for data collection and analysis.
• Collaborate with hospital staff to improve data quality and support decision-making related to nursing quality indicators.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree with a minimum of five years extensive data analysis experience.
• Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
• Decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to evaluate user requests to define course of action, investigate solutions and question assumptions.
• Demonstrate initiative and effectiveness in communication, flexibility, planning and organization.
• Knowledge of necessary software applications including MS Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of data analysis techniques, including data collection, aggregation and display.
• Medical Terminology.
• 1-2 years of experience in data aggregation analysis and display.
