About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Performs secondary, commercial market data analyses in areas such as segmentation, customer targeting, program ROI, key performance indicators, and ad hoc marketing analyses.
• Supports market and price forecasting through secondary market data analysis.
• Applies model building and coding skills to analyze market dynamics, resource allocation, response to marketing stimuli, and customer segmentation using techniques like optimization, regression, and Monte Carlo simulations.
• Uses the scientific method to uncover business insights by asking challenging questions, developing hypotheses, conducting data experiments, analyzing results, and drawing conclusions to provide actionable intelligence.
• Conducts promotion response analysis for significant brand promotional tactics to optimize financial return on investment.
• Conducts longitudinal claims analysis to identify and assess treatment patterns and algorithms.
• Prepares presentations for senior management on market planning, product selection, and business environment changes.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams and partners closely with key stakeholders to solve critical business problems.

Requirements

• Master's degree students in Data Science, Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or related fields.
• Three to five years of prior work experience.
• Must be authorized to work in the US on a permanent basis without sponsorship.
• Availability to work full time (40 hours/week) for at least 12 weeks during summer 2026.
• Minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0.
• Graduate student with at least one year of university studies prior to internship.
• Returning to university for at least one semester/quarter after the internship.
• Global mindset to thrive in a diverse work environment.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of coding techniques in SAS, R, or Python, and advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Understanding of quantitative principles and practices related to secondary market data sources.

Nice to Have

• Experience with analytical tools such as Dataiku, Amazon Redshift, Databricks.
• Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industry preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate student with at least one year of university studies completed prior to internship.
• Minimum GPA of 3.5/4.0.
