Job Description

About the Role

We're looking for an Analytics Manager to join our growing Global Routes to Revenue ("RTR") Performance and Planning team at Sage. Our team is responsible for GTM design, developing commercial models, driving revenue planning, and building the analytical framework that measures GTM performance. Reporting to the Director of GTM Performance & Analytics, you'll lead forecasting and predictive analytics while also tackling a variety of strategic projects. You'll dig into customer-level data, build models to predict outcomes like churn, and deliver insights that directly influence commercial model decisions. This is a critical role in shaping Sage's end-to-end GTM Analytics suite-starting with Sage Intacct-and making sure our go-to-market strategies are data-driven and future-ready.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage key deliverables for the global GTM analytics reporting suite (starting with the Intacct product), ensuring scalable, reliable, and actionable insights.
  • Partner with Data Product and GTM Analytics leaders to define and evolve operational KPIs that measure the success of Sage's growth initiatives.
  • Lead end-to-end advanced analytics and machine learning projects (e.g., forecasting, classification, segmentation, lifetime value modeling, pricing optimization, causal inference), from data preparation through deployment and monitoring.
  • Embed predictive and advanced analytics into reporting workflows, including integration of ML models and emerging Generative AI capabilities to automate insights, enhance storytelling, and improve user interaction.
  • Deliver deep-dive analyses and root cause investigations to uncover drivers of performance and provide clear recommendations to senior management.
  • Partner with stakeholders across global and regional Commercial Operations teams to translate analytics into business impact and strategic GTM decisions.
  • Document key methodologies, assumptions, and calculations to ensure transparency and reproducibility of analytics outputs.
  • Own and manage a pipeline of ad-hoc analytics projects, tracking progress and ensuring alignment with commercial strategy.
  • Mentor and coach junior analysts in predictive modeling, advanced analytics techniques, and best practices, fostering a collaborative, inclusive, and growth-oriented culture.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to GTM executives, communicating insights and influencing decision-making at the highest levels.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive experience in analytics, data science, or related fields.
  • Hands-on expertise in predictive modeling and machine learning (e.g., regression, classification, time-series forecasting, segmentation).
  • Proficiency in Python or R, with deep expertise in ML libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch) and strong SQL skills.
  • At least 2 years of experience with Power BI (or similar BI platforms) for advanced dashboarding and data visualization.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor small teams, elevating analytics and ML capability across the organization.
  • Proven track record of delivering advanced analytics projects that informed commercial or GTM strategy.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical findings into business insights.
  • Familiarity with Generative AI technologies and their potential application in enhancing insights, automation, and user experience.
