About the Role

Anthropologie is seeking a digital marketing professional to lead programmatic media activation strategy for its brands. The role involves collaboration across teams, strategic planning, innovation, and data analysis to drive growth and align marketing efforts with business goals. The position emphasizes leadership, cross-functional teamwork, and a focus on performance optimization within a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing expert recommendations on programmatic strategy including investment decisions, audience targeting, technology innovation, and channel strategy.
  • Synthesize complex performance data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership, highlighting channel impact on divisional and total business performance.
  • Monitor channel, agency, and in-house performance against KPIs such as ROAS, CPA, and CPM, and hold regular check-ins to review optimizations and results.
  • Continuously identify and implement innovative programmatic tactics, leveraging emerging platform features and industry best practices to drive competitive advantage.
  • Translate high-level business priorities into actionable programmatic initiatives, ensuring alignment across brand and divisional strategies.
  • Build strategy for and manage programs across the funnel, balancing multiple KPIs to drive awareness and return on investment.
  • Develop projections and investment recommendations for tactic allocation and weekly/monthly spend pacing to meet channel goals.
  • Evaluate and challenge agency and platform recommendations, ensuring flawless execution of campaigns.
  • Implement innovative tactics across display, video, audio, and emerging formats, reviewing and approving media plans, audience strategies, and creative assets.
  • Ensure accurate tracking and reporting through proper implementation of pixels, tags, and analytics integrations.
  • Audit campaign structures and settings for adherence to best practices and compliance.
  • Contribute to team projects, champion a culture of testing and learning, and design experiments to inform future strategies.
  • Manage a programmatic specialist and collaborate with cross-channel teams to foster growth and skills development.
  • Work closely with Ad Tech partners to develop and implement automation and optimization solutions.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years' experience in programmatic media, with emphasis on display, video, and emerging formats.
  • Expertise in DSP platforms such as DV360 and The Trade Desk, and familiarity with ad tech tools.
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external teams to develop strategies within budget and timelines.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience presenting insights aligned with business goals.
  • High project management skills and medium to high familiarity with web analytics and attribution modeling.
  • Passion for search and staying updated on advertising formats, Search AI landscape, and related technologies.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and provide clear, straightforward recommendations.
  • Collaborative attitude with a growth mindset and problem-solving approach.

  • Agency and/or consulting experience.
  • Experience with advanced automation and optimization solutions in ad tech.
  • Experience in developing strategies that meet specific business goals within budget constraints.
