Application Onboarding Specialist/Project Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders across NNSA HQ, other DOE sites, and the Department of Defense (DoD) to gather and convey requirements to technical services teams and ESN program leadership.
• Identify potential challenges with authentication, authorization, and integration with existing services; work with product teams to mitigate or address risks prior to provisioning virtual infrastructure.
• Maintain clear communication on the status of the application onboarding backlog with relevant government entities, ESN program technical teams, and leadership.
• Provide operational support for deployment and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure and applications, ensuring security baselines are properly implemented.
• Leverage technical expertise and customer service skills to ensure seamless integration and deployment of enterprise services and applications using ESN paradigms.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to compile data from disparate sources into reports and presentations for management.
• Technical knowledge of systems such as Cisco and Polycom equipment, and VTC operations.
• Experience with the ESN hub onboarding process.
• Experience with Atlassian applications like Confluence and Jira.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to engage stakeholders and foster collaboration.
• Ability to manage schedules, coordinate resources, and maintain operational efficiency.

Nice to Have

• Experience delivering reports and presentations to senior and executive management.
• Strong technical knowledge of multiple communication technologies including Cisco and Polycom in various environments.
• Proficient verbal and written communication skills for technical and operational collaboration.
• Experience in government or regulated environments.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks and MS Office tools, including Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship for security clearance eligibility.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
