Applications Engineer- Audio Products

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Working in an R D environment on the audio product development team.
• Assist with conceptualizing, defining, documenting and beta testing of new products.
• Supporting and training other teams in the organization.
• Focus primarily on growing and supporting Extron's audio line of products including audio accessories, speakers, amplifiers and audio DSP processors for the professional audiovisual industry.

Requirements

• BS degree in EE or ET or equivalent experience in the audio visual industry.
• 2 years' working experience with design tools such as AutoCad and/or Microsoft Visio.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Basic knowledge of either live or integrated audio systems.
• Basic knowledge of AVoIP and associated network protocols.
• Strong attention to detail, highly organized, computer literate.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment.

Nice to Have

• Dante Certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• BS degree in EE or ET or equivalent experience in the audio visual industry.

Benefits & Perks

• Salary Range: $85,000 to $100,000. Pay may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
