About the Role

This position can be based in Burlington, VT or Hoboken, NJ. The Assistant Manager of Audience Measurement at Unilever supports brand teams in defining and implementing performance measurement strategies, producing marketing KPI insights, and delivering cross-channel performance reports with actionable insights. The role involves working closely with agency partners, consumer insights teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to optimize campaign performance and explore new measurement methodologies, all within a company committed to diversity, inclusion, sustainability, and purpose-driven work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the delivery of campaign performance reports focusing on key KPIs established in the campaign brief/learning agenda, working with agency partners and CMI to coordinate.
  • Builds performance dashboards to easily share insights with marketers and enhances dashboards by adding data sources and features.
  • Performs meta-analyses across campaigns to improve performance for all brands and establish new best practices both locally and globally.
  • Acts as the primary point of measurement and targeting contact for media agencies and the Consumer Insights team.
  • Investigates new measurement methodologies and research opportunities in partnership with CMI.
  • Engages in cross-functional communication with agencies, insights teams, and brand teams to support first-party data performance.
  • Leads audience development efforts with WPP and channel partners across paid campaigns.
  • Performs ad hoc data analysis for key, timely business questions.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of marketing analytics experience in a consumer-packaged goods setting.
  • Experience working within business analytics and interpreting results to drive decision-making.
  • Proven ability to understand and consider financial scenarios.
  • Experience with traditional and non-traditional consumer marketing techniques (e.g., shopper marketing, social/digital marketing).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, comfortable creating and delivering presentations.
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills.
  • Skills in marketing analytics, brand performance analysis, audience marketing, campaign measurement, and optimization.
  • Demonstrates passion for high performance, personal mastery, consumer love, purpose and service, and agility.

  • Experience with developing and managing dashboards and data sources.
