About the Role

The Associate Brand Manager role involves supporting brand management and marketing activities within a dynamic organization. The position requires a high level of administrative proficiency, collaboration across departments, and effective communication with internal and external contacts. The role is based in New York, NY, and involves working closely with executive teams to ensure smooth operations and brand support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high level of computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel with pivot tables, PowerPoint).
  • Handle and exhibit sensitivity to confidential information.
  • Increase efficiencies by thinking ahead and taking accountability for administrative support to the team.
  • Oversee office efficiency, supplies, maintenance, problem solving, IT liaison, printer issues, video conferencing, and webinar use.
  • Collect and distribute department mail and packages.
  • Monitor calendars and track PTO.
  • Collaborate with GM Executive Assistant to update contact lists and organizational charts.
  • Coordinate all administrative paperwork related to HR, including PCN forms and recruiting forms, and track their progress.
  • Stay updated on building-related matters.
  • Serve as part of the onboarding process for new associates, coordinating VM extensions, laptops, business cards, and cell phones, working with functional teams and VP HR.
  • Act as a go-to person within the scope of the role.
  • Compose emails and correspondence under the direction of VP HR.
  • Participate in weekly touch base meetings with executives.
  • Communicate effectively with internal requests and external contacts, responding in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Windows applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Typing proficiency of 45 WPM.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain an enthusiastic attitude and low stress level.
  • Team player with a sense of urgency.
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
  • Comfortable conversing with all levels of management, from executives to store level.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience in Excel, including basic formulas and pivots.
  • Approximately 5+ years of brand management and commercial marketing experience.
  • Basic understanding of MS Teams and MS OneDrive.

  • Experience with MS Teams and MS OneDrive.

  • +5 years of brand management and commercial marketing experience.
