About the Role
This position is ideal for early-career professionals or recent graduates looking to build experience in Business Intelligence. The BI Analyst I supports the development and maintenance of dashboards and reports, participates in data collection and analysis activities, and collaborates with more experienced team members to deliver data-driven solutions aligned with business needs. The role focuses on executing well-defined tasks, learning BI tools and practices, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts within the team. The BI Analyst I will gain exposure to multiple business functions while strengthening core technical and analytical competencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building and updating dashboards using Power BI under guidance from senior team members.
- Support data gathering and cleaning processes using SQL queries or Excel.
- Help document report specifications, update documentation, and ensure data accuracy.
- Participate in team meetings and follow project/task assignments effectively.
- Support data validation processes and help identify potential data issues.
- Collaborate with other BI Analysts to understand business requirements and deliver basic reports.
- Apply best practices in visualization and reporting as trained.
- Engage in ongoing learning to enhance knowledge in tools, databases, and reporting standards.
- Maintain clear communication with peers and proactively ask for support when needed.
Requirements
- Interest in building experience in Business Intelligence.
- Ability to support dashboard development and data analysis activities.
- Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, and Excel for data gathering and cleaning.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
- Willingness to learn BI tools, databases, and reporting standards.
- Ability to follow guidance and work collaboratively within a team.
