About the Role

The Associate Data Analytics - Business Intelligence position at Salesforce involves delivering insights, conducting adoption tests, and working with senior BI engineers and a cross-functional team to productize these insights. The role focuses on designing, developing, and maintaining visual displays of mission-critical data sets for statistical and machine learning requirements. The team aims to empower decision-makers with trusted data and actionable insights to support product and business growth, focusing on data storytelling, visualization, and analysis within a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and interactive reports in Tableau Cloud, Tableau Next, and Salesforce Einstein Analytics.
  • Partner with enterprise analysts, engineering, and other stakeholders to understand business use case needs for insights and analytics.
  • Help architect, develop, validate, and communicate BI solutions such as reports, dashboards, KPIs, and alerts.
  • Document standards and procedures for best practices in visual intelligence design and development.
  • Identify data gaps, improve data quality, and integrate data from multiple sources for in-depth analysis.
  • Translate numbers, trends, and data into consumable insights, both explanatory and exploratory.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of Data Visualization experience using Tableau and similar tools.
  • 2 years of experience with Big data technologies like Hadoop, Pig, Hive, HBase, Spark.
  • Expert knowledge of Oracle SQL and NoSQL tools for data analysis, report development, and performance tuning.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand Salesforce business processes.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable strategies.
  • Expertise in visual representation of complex information to drive business impact.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to a wide audience.
  • Related technical degree.

  • Experience in the use of open source software.
  • Experience working in unstructured and fast-paced environments.
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and resolution skills.
  • Ability to translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
