The Associate Director, Artist Relations & Marketing, US Latin, will manage artist relations and develop marketing strategies to expand the artist's reach and brand globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute heavily to the creation, development, and execution of marketing strategies, packaging design, ad campaigns, and tour planning for assigned projects.
  • Participate in near and long-term creative planning to ensure a clear and consistent message for assigned projects while acting as a central point of contact and lead for all assigned projects.
  • Work with all departments in meeting deadlines and maintaining a creative thread throughout projects.
  • Develop and execute creative imaging for marketing campaigns in conjunction with an Art Director, including selecting visual imagery and overseeing production of promotional materials.
  • Lead collaborative efforts and help conceptualize creative concepts with digital marketing specialists for digital initiatives such as mobile concepts, artist website design, and social media presence.
  • Liaise with artist management regularly to communicate label plans and expectations.
  • Create, negotiate, and manage marketing budgets for each project.
  • Participate in managing release schedules related to assigned projects.
  • Research and evaluate customer needs, industry landscape, and market/cultural trends.
  • Work with artist management and A&R to assess artist development needs.
  • Collaborate with promotion, publicity, sales, and international marketing departments to meet or exceed sales targets and ensure marketing plans align with project needs.
  • Lead development and execution of direct-to-consumer campaigns.
  • Assist in planning and executing artist showcases, listening parties, and events.
  • Support onboarding tools for new marketing team members and assist senior management with project and budget planning.

Requirements

  • 4-6 years of experience in marketing, project management, and/or artist relations in the entertainment industry.
  • A Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to supervise projects and timelines from start to finish.
  • Knowledge of the Latin music industry in the USA.
  • Knowledge of social media and digital partners' inner workings.
  • Fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English.

Nice to Have

  • Experience working specifically within the Latin music industry in the USA.
  • Additional experience in digital marketing initiatives and artist development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in entertainment marketing or artist relations.
