About the Role

Columbia Hospitality Inc is seeking an Associate Director of Digital Marketing who brings leadership, curiosity, and deep experience in digital strategy and execution. This role will oversee the digital marketing team, focusing on driving revenue, increasing visibility, and elevating brand presence across all digital marketing channels. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Columbia Hospitality's digital marketing team, providing strategic guidance and day-to-day management of the Senior Digital Media Strategist, Web Developer, and SEO Specialist.
  • Mentor and support team members, strengthening platform expertise, campaign strategy, and SEO-driven content practices.
  • Provide prioritization and clear direction to the digital team, ensuring alignment between paid media, SEO, and web strategies.
  • Oversee paid media performance, site performance, and SEO efforts to ensure a unified and measurable digital marketing strategy.
  • Guide campaign planning and prioritization for the digital team, fostering a culture of testing, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee all paid digital advertising campaigns including Google Ads, Meta platforms, LinkedIn ads, and other paid channels, ensuring strong ROI and alignment with property positioning.
  • Oversee strategy and execution of hospitality-specific advertising platforms such as Booking.com, Expedia Travel Ads, and metasearch.
  • Lead SEO strategy and performance monitoring for all property websites, collaborating with internal and third-party experts.
  • Partner with the Web Developer to monitor, report on, and improve website health, UX, load speed, mobile performance, and analytics tracking.
  • Translate business goals into digital marketing strategies in collaboration with marketing, revenue, and property leadership teams.
  • Develop and manage annual digital marketing budgets and strategic plans, presenting strategies and metrics to owners.
  • Monitor and manage digital budgets, optimizing spend for maximum impact.
  • Identify opportunities to improve tracking, interpretation, and sharing of digital results, owning and evolving reporting processes.
  • Develop and implement SOPs for digital marketing tools, channels, and processes.
  • Manage vendor and agency relationships related to digital media, web development, and marketing platforms/tools.
  • Stay current on industry trends, digital tools, and platform updates, bringing strategic oversight to digital marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a business-related discipline.
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience managing paid advertising campaigns across platforms like Google Ads and Meta.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices, website UX, and analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Deep knowledge of performance marketing strategies, including PPC, retargeting, metasearch, and hospitality ad platforms.
  • Strong people management skills with proven experience leading a team.
  • Proficient in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to balance creative, technical, and analytical thinking.
  • Strong presentation skills to communicate digital strategies and analytics to stakeholders.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.

  • Hospitality experience.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a business-related discipline.
  • 6+ years of digital marketing experience with leadership exposure.
  • Experience managing paid digital advertising campaigns.
  • Knowledge of SEO, website UX, and analytics tools.
  • Proven stakeholder and relationship management skills.
