About the Role

The Associate Director of Recruitment and Marketing for the MS-Environment and Sustainability Management program at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business manages recruitment, marketing, and admissions activities to meet enrollment goals. The role involves developing and executing outreach strategies, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors, and representing the program at events. The position supports the program's mission to build global business knowledge and inspire ethical leaders, emphasizing Georgetown's Jesuit tradition, interdisciplinary learning, and its location in Washington, D.C.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing, recruitment, and admissions plans for the MS-ESM program.
  • Support all aspects of MS-ESM recruiting outreach, including managing lead and applicant communications and creating procedures for outreach and follow-up.
  • Ensure all marketing content materials are current and accurately represent the program's goals.
  • Create email communication strategies and manage email campaigns within marketing automation platforms.
  • Plan recruiting events such as on-campus, online information sessions, and represent MSB at domestic and international recruiting fairs.
  • Coordinate with the MS-ESM Program Coordinator for applicant review, interview scheduling, and student engagement.
  • Act as a liaison with external marketing firms to monitor and review paid advertising campaigns across various digital channels.
  • Support applicant interviews across programs as needed.
  • Interact with prospective and enrolled students, providing information professionally and persuasively.
  • Manage outside vendors and coordinate with university offices such as Financial Aid and Veterans Affairs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in recruitment, marketing, or related fields.
  • Outstanding verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong team orientation and ability to multitask, prioritize, and execute tasks with attention to detail.
  • Experience planning and managing a wide range of events and activities.

Nice to Have

  • Experience in higher education or admissions environment.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools like Marketo and CRM tools like Salesforce.
  • Comfort working directly with executives at all levels.
  • Desire to engage with international cultures.
