About the Role

The Associate Director, Patient Services Analytics will be responsible for leading the Patient Services analytics strategy and execution roadmap to support North America Oncology, Neuroscience and Rare Disease therapeutic areas and business needs. Reporting to the Senior Director, Commercial Analytics and Insights, this role will be an individual contributor and partner with the Patient Services team to deliver integrated analytics, drive competitive advantage, and support data-driven decision-making processes. The role acts as the Data, Digital and Analytics CoE point-of-contact for internal Patient CRM HUB development, external HUB services, and data flow and integration from all HUB data sources. The candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in Patient Services analytics, set best practices, lead vendor teams, and improve utilization of HUB, Sales, and third-party data to deliver patient-level insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic oversight and guidance to develop and maintain key analytics and reporting capabilities for the Patient Services organization.
  • Lead a proactive and systematic approach to capturing and understanding Patient Services business needs for standard and ad hoc analytics, reporting, and insights generation.
  • Support Patient Services team with analytics in enrollment processes.
  • Lead performance / KPI development and reporting to identify opportunities based on internal and external data sources.
  • Collaborate with Patient Services teams to investigate and explore ad-hoc data investigations for insights.
  • Leverage internal and external data sources to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Ipsen's Patient Services team.
  • Partner with the Director, Patient Services to produce regular and ad-hoc reporting for brand leadership.
  • Deliver presentations of findings and recommendations to leadership through various communication channels.
  • Communicate with Business Ethics and Legal to ensure compliance with sensitive data sources.
  • Oversee key supplier relationships for data initiatives, including internal HUB (Salesforce Healthcloud) development and external HUB (Mercalis) data reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech, or Medical Devices industry.
  • At least 5+ years of commercial business experience.
  • Deep knowledge of patient-level and specialty pharmacy data for insights generation.
  • Understanding of patient enrollment processes and patient journeys in Rare, Oncology, and Neuroscience products.
  • Hands-on knowledge of patient data and ability to design analytics from scratch.
  • Experience analyzing complex situations and synthesizing data for actionable insights.
  • Familiarity with advanced analytical algorithms and predictive analytics initiatives.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Tableau, and Power BI for data visualization and modeling.
  • Strong organizational skills, time management, and ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Ability to lead without reporting authority and influence in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience managing vendor resources supporting analytics.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with analyzing complex healthcare data environments.
  • Knowledge of healthcare payer environments.
  • Experience with Salesforce Healthcloud or similar CRM systems.
