About the Role

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine is recruiting for an Associate Director, Integrated Analytics and Market Research, Immunology - Dermatology. This position will be based in Horsham, PA. The Immunology team leads in the development of transformational medicines for immunological disorders and illnesses, aiming to develop treatments, find cures, and pioneer the path from lab to life while championing patients every step of the way. The role involves leading the integration and execution of market research and analytics to generate new business insights and uncover growth opportunities for the Tremfya brand within Janssen NA, serving as an internal consultant to marketing and sales, and broader business partners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, craft and complete analytics and market research which inform Dermatology marketing and sales strategy and tactics.
  • Leverage disparate data and insight sources to address key business questions and uncover business opportunities, evaluate business performance, and access impact of marketing and sales tactics.
  • Determine optimal research and/or analytical approaches, identify appropriate supplier partners, develop strong partnerships in the context of resources, timing, and overall project goals.
  • Develop insights and actionable recommendations and influence business partners at all levels to incorporate in decision making.
  • Find opportunities to embed StAT capabilities (Advanced Analytics, Access Insights, Patient Engagement, etc.) to drive impact for brand or franchise and drive organizational efficiencies.
  • Serve as a leader in integrating data and analytics (national, subnational, payer) with findings and insights developed by peers across the Strategic Insights & Analytics team.
  • Demonstrate leadership courage to set boundaries and ensure time is spent on the most critical/high value projects.
  • Drive a culture of simplicity to ensure business processes are streamlined and partners are provided on-demand insights that translate to action.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of relevant business experience in marketing, finance, analytics, management consulting or related field team experience.
  • Current or previous experience within the pharmaceutical industry, including knowledge of pharma datasets.
  • Knowledge across a broad spectrum of market research and analytic approaches and ability to identify appropriate approach(es) to address key business questions.
  • Experience in developing comprehensive and impactful recommendations and solutions that drive key decisions.
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience required; Advanced degree desirable.
  • Experience with domain-specific data sets for Immunology (medical claims, pharmacy claims, and sales data -- data sources such as IQVIA, SHS).
  • Fluency in Tableau or PowerBI, as well as SAS, SQL, or Dataiku to work with large datasets.
  • Strong storytelling, data visualization, and presentation skills.
  • General management mindset, business acumen, and strategic thinking.
  • Strong leadership agility and success in solving ambiguous business issues.
  • This position is based in Horsham, PA on a hybrid schedule and requires up to 10% domestic travel.
