ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, TRADE MARKETING & STRATEGY - NEUROSCIENCE AND EYE CARE

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of brand-specific trade strategies with specialty and/or retail pharmacies to ensure medication access and enhance the overall patient experience.
• Identify new, strategic channel partners and programs that support innovation and meet evolving patient needs in the pharmacy channel.
• Execute launch excellence in the trade channel by contributing to launch planning and aligning brand go-to-market strategies for seamless product launches.
• Serve as the trade lead in collaboration with brand and cross-functional teams to drive initiatives and manage product supply disruptions.
• Develop and execute brand value propositions for trade across various product lifecycle stages by collaborating with brand and other teams.
• Create high-impact promotional materials for the Pharmacy Account team supporting stakeholder needs and strategic objectives.
• Represent trade in the annual strategic planning process for key brands and participate in launch readiness teams as needed.
• Manage relationships with internal partners such as Brand, Payer, Customer Service, Demand Planning, MABI, and Trade Account Teams, including wholesalers and pharmacies.
• Oversee strategic agency partnerships and lead the development and execution of strategies across therapeutic areas.
• Analyze pharmacy data to inform strategic decisions and participate in special projects like specialty at retail opportunities.
• Cultivate an inclusive trade marketing culture that encourages diversity, transparency, and collective development.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• At least 7 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Experience in market access and contract negotiation.
• Strong understanding of marketing concepts and strategic planning processes.
• Knowledge of market research principles and data analysis.
• Experience in program management within pharmacy and distribution channels.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to present to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and manage cross-functional projects.
• Customer-centric mindset and solutions-oriented attitude.
• Knowledge of regulations affecting pharmaceutical products.
• Relationships within specialty, retail pharmacy, and distribution channels preferred.
