About the Role

The Associate for Lifecycle Marketing at Santander is responsible for utilizing data analytics and customer insights to develop targeted communication strategies across various digital channels. The role involves designing customer journeys, executing personalized campaigns, and collaborating with teams to optimize marketing efforts, all within a company that values continuous learning, innovation, and a strong risk culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Use data analytics and customer behavior insights to identify customer needs at various stages of the lifecycle and develop targeted communication strategies tailored by segment.
  • Design and create visualizations of customer communications journeys to map out how communications will reach customers with the right messaging at various touchpoints.
  • Design and execute personalized communication plans for each customer segment via various digital channels, including email, SMS, push, and in-app messages.
  • Design onboarding journeys that provide a seamless customer experience, ensuring customers understand the value of their product and encouraging early engagement.
  • Use customer analytics to develop retention strategies aimed at reducing churn and deepening customer engagement.
  • Work with data and analytics teams to measure campaign effectiveness and track KPIs such as acquisition targets and customer lifetime value to identify areas of improvement.
  • Create a comprehensive test-learn-optimize roadmap for CRM channels.
  • Partner with other channel owners in the CRM team to assess cohesive communication strategies across outbound and inbound channels.
  • Work with agencies to create best-in-class creative content.
  • Understand the MarTech stack and optimize the usage of various tools to create effective campaigns.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in Business, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of related work experience.
  • Demonstrated thought leadership in customer marketing and/or retention marketing functions.
  • Track record of driving customer engagement and lifetime value with measurable results in financial services, FinTech, or related industries.
  • Experience with various customer marketing channels, especially email, SMS, push notifications, and in-app messaging.
  • Strong understanding of CRM tools such as Adobe Campaign Manager, SFMC, Braze, etc.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Tableau or similar analytics tools.
  • Experience in statistical testing and leading A/B or multivariate test and learn agendas.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent relationship management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with consumer finance products.
  • Domain expertise in financial services or FinTech industries.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in relevant fields.
  • 5+ years of related work experience.
