About the Role

In a time of unprecedented expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate Product Developer to join our RD&amp;D New Product Development team. This role is responsible for the end-to-end ideation, development and launch of educational furniture products. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, a solution-oriented mindset and a keen attention to detail to drive quality products. The Product Developer should have a solid understanding of cross-functional teamwork and possess proficiency in data analysis and customer perspective to drive decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Analyzing market trends and sales data to inform development of future products
End-to-end ideation, development and launch of educational products, ensuring all products meet high standards of quality and safety, with attention to detail, and actively moving products forward to meet deadlines
Providing clear direction and collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers and the Asia team to ensure successful product execution
Conducting market research and gathering customer insights to inform product development decisions
Spokesperson for projects, approving product images, copy and aiding in launch presentations to the sales team

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in education
Experience teaching in the classroom and/or product development
Highly detail-oriented, hardworking and professional personality with excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of the development process for physical items
Ability to analyze complex problems and provide solutions
Strong organizational skills, a team mentality and outcome orientation
Ability to thrive in an environment with multiple overlapping deadlines
Experience presenting projects to leadership
Superb attention to detail and follow-through

Nice to Have

Experience with data analysis
Experience in product development for educational or physical products

Qualifications

Relevant experience in teaching or product development
Proficiency in data analysis and customer insights
Strong communication and organizational skills

Salary between $68,640 - $83,000 depending on relevant experience and skillset
