About the Role

The Private Equity Valuations team is a market leader in supporting clients with independent valuations of illiquid debt and private equity investments. Since 2014, the department has been among the fastest-growing areas within S&P Global, serving over 400 institutional investors globally across various sectors including start-up, growth, mature, and distressed investments. The role offers an opportunity to work in a high-growth space, deal directly with leading clients across private equity, private credit, infrastructure, hedge funds, and institutional investors, and develop skills across different sectors and geographies.

Key Responsibilities

Perform valuations on a wide range of illiquid investments across industries and geographies.
Present analysis and conclusions including written reports, and handle valuation queries from clients.
Contribute to the design and enhancement of the financial models used to perform valuations.
Build and maintain client relationships by working with management.
Attend relevant industry events to broaden knowledge and experience within the alternative asset industry.

Requirements

Degree or Masters in a relevant field.
Familiarity with valuation principles preferred.
High level of interest in research and analyzing companies.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Exceptional energy and drive.
Ability to adapt and support new business opportunities.
Limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
