About the Role

The Associate Product Manager Security at T-Mobile is a strategic, analytical, and customer-focused role responsible for envisioning, creating, and managing products that achieve specific business results. The role involves identifying customer needs, assessing technical feasibility, securing funding, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts research and analysis to help create and manage product vision and roadmap.
  • Participates in end user research to inform product prioritization.
  • Partners with business and internal/external stakeholders to understand current customer experiences and identify opportunities.
  • Assists with product presentations and conducts competitive product analysis.
  • Provides ad hoc reports and analysis to management upon request.
  • Develops and maintains understanding of customer experience and tech trends, assessing their impact on the product roadmap.
  • Leverages customer insights to inform product vision, strategy, and priorities.
  • Engages directly with customers to build empathy and understand their needs and priorities.
  • Creates and manages a Voice of Customer (VOC) feed for the team.
  • Identifies opportunities to meet unmet customer needs and advocates for the customer internally and externally.
  • Helps generate dashboards and reports to track product health and success metrics.
  • Assists with maintaining and updating product backlog and priorities.
  • Scopes and prioritizes activities based on impact to business and customers.
  • Supports beta and pilot programs for early-stage products.
  • Prepares product documents and use cases to drive product activity.
  • Supports sales and marketing with product knowledge and develops adoption tools and training materials.
  • Writes feature and user stories to translate strategy into work for development teams.
  • Communicates defect status and responses to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Ensures defects are prioritized into the backlog and resolved appropriately.
  • Prepares and drives product and experience demos.
  • Develops positive relationships with various teams, outside partners, and customer groups.
  • Attends educational workshops to develop industry knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 0-2 years of relevant Product Management experience in an agile software environment.
  • SCRUM knowledge in software with Agile Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of overall agile development team execution, from strategy to deployment.
  • Strong requirements elicitation and technical writing skills, with the ability to write clearly for different audiences.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with product roadmaps and strategic planning.
  • Experience in customer research and VOC management.
  • Familiarity with product development tools and software.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience.
