About the Role

The Boeing Company is seeking an Aviation Market Analyst (Mid-level or Senior) to join the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Marketing team in Renton, Washington. The role involves researching, analyzing, and communicating key market trends that will influence airplane demand over the mid-to-long term, supporting strategic planning and industry outlook development. The position requires a highly analytical individual who thinks strategically and can share insights effectively with diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

Identify market trends in all segments of the aviation industry
Lead research on airline, technical, regulatory, and other market variables to support market analysis and strategic planning
Develop solutions to analytic challenges, including modeling, to support market forecasts and scenario planning exercises
Provide insight into airline and lessor business strategies for internal and external audiences
Develop and deliver market presentations and industry white papers
Contribute to the development and communication of Boeing's view of the future of aviation markets and airplane demand

Requirements

5+ years of experience analyzing economic and/or market data
3+ years of experience working in aviation, transportation, travel, or tourism industries
1+ years of experience giving executive level presentations and/or public speaking

Nice to Have

5+ years of experience analyzing aviation, travel, air cargo, or transportation market trends and data
5+ years of experience performing statistical, data, and/or predictive analysis
Demonstrable understanding of modeling techniques for identifying relationships and predicting outcomes in long time horizon applications
Experience with scoping and implementing analytic solutions with large and imperfect data sets
Expertise in PowerBI, Tableau, or comparable data-analytics and visualization tools
Experience conducting and presenting market research and analysis in a consulting, business, or industry organization
Demonstrated critical reasoning skills, strategic thinking, and storytelling capability
