Job Description

About the Role

The VP of Integrated Marketing at Marcus by Goldman Sachs is responsible for driving brand awareness, strategic planning, and execution of integrated marketing efforts to support growth across high yield savings and CD products. The role involves overseeing brand strategy, developing go-to-market plans, and collaborating with various teams to ensure alignment with business objectives. This position is part of a fast-growing, data-driven, and collaborative team within Goldman Sachs' direct-to-consumer business, Marcus, which combines entrepreneurial spirit with extensive experience to serve millions of customers with innovative financial products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Refresh and maintain audience strategy, market trends, and competitive landscape, working with research and acquisition teams
  • Develop new brand vision and architecture for the business and map to all customer touchpoints such as advertising, web, and communications
  • Oversee creative development and advertising process
  • Develop integrated go-to-market plans across owned, paid, and earned channels with clear priorities, KPIs, ROIs, and resource allocation
  • Oversee campaign execution and launch, working with paid media teams and agency partners
  • Develop measurement infrastructure including holistic brand health metrics to assess impact
  • Build out a brand and integrated marketing infrastructure, including operating model with the acquisition team
  • Identify key talents to hire, lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team
  • Manage relationships with creative agencies and oversee their strategy
  • Collaborate with PR team on press releases, media outreach, and content strategy
  • Keep pace on the competitive landscape and spend

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, with at least 5 years in an integrated or brand marketing leadership role
  • Minimum of 3 years experience within financial services or consumer banking
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful cross-channel campaigns with measurable results
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Experience managing and developing a team of marketing professionals
  • Strong financial acumen and experience managing marketing budgets
  • Ability to work in a regulatory environment with legal and compliance partners
