About the Role

The Azure Data Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise and creative solutions to address complex IT and cloud challenges within the Azure Tech Stack. The role involves designing and guiding the implementation of cloud enterprise IT architectures, ensuring consistency across technical design, engineering, and sustainment efforts, and collaborating with various stakeholders to meet customer requirements. The position offers an opportunity to work on optimizing infrastructures for Pharmacy clients and involves coding, testing, and designing Azure solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical expertise and creative solutions to address complex IT/cloud challenges in Azure Tech Stack including Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Datalake Storage, Microsoft Power BI, SQL, Python, Scala.
Design and guide the implementation of cloud Enterprise IT architectures, ensuring consistency across technical design, engineering, and sustainment efforts.
Review existing infrastructures, recommending optimizations and enhancements to benefit clients.
Collaborate with project managers, customers, and executive teams to interpret and meet customer requirements.
Code and perform unit tests on Azure Databricks and Data Factory.
Design new Azure solutions and proven repeatable implementations.
Maintain strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Identify opportunities within customer environments.

Requirements

Experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Datalake Storage, Microsoft Power BI, SQL, Python, and Scala.
Ability to design and implement cloud enterprise IT architectures.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Opportunity awareness in customer environments.
