Azure Data Engineer with Python & SQL experience

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Works closely with experience design, business execution, digital analytics, and digital technology stakeholders to design, specify, and perform quality testing.
• Participant in the software development and experience in full life cycle.
• Expert in the technologies used to manage digital customer data for segmentation and for analytics.
• Understand the first- and third-party data required to describe the customer and the customer's activities across their interactions for purposes of segmentation definition to enable contextual marketing and personalization.
• Define data collection activities for projects that create or modify customer facing digital experiences, including app and web.
• Analyze what needs to be measured; define new metrics and dimensions including prescribing values for those metrics and dimensions.
• Create technical documentation for developers and authors to enable data collection.
• Execute quality assurance activities to validate data is produced and captured per the design.
• Write analytics requirements concisely and clearly for audiences ranging from business stakeholders to technical developers.
• Prioritize work to meet deadlines while being customer and process oriented.
• Identify, analyze, and synthesize business needs into business requirements and translate those into technical data collection requirements for developers.

Requirements

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Kansas City, KS or be willing to relocate to the area.
• This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 2 years of Information Technology experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in Azure.
• At least 2 years of experience in Python & SQL.
• Strong knowledge of modern data warehouse architecture and data modeling.
