About the Role

As a Bank Treasury Product Owner II, you will manage and oversee the development and implementation of treasury products and services offered. The Product Owner will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful product launches. Additionally, they will monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements and drive continuous improvement. Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the development and implementation of treasury products and services.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to define product requirements and prioritize features.
Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product enhancements.
Define product purpose, design, planning, development, prototyping, and testing throughout the product lifecycle.
Develop product roadmaps based on effort sizing and overall business value.
Coordinate with development teams and the business for sprint reviews.
Interpret internal or external issues and recommend solutions or best practices.
Create and maintain user stories, and develop and prioritize functional requirements for new or revised features.
Develop manageable deliverables, milestones, and development schedules from complex user stories.
Assist product marketing in defining target markets, developing marketing materials, or understanding the product value proposition.
Lead functional teams or projects as needed.

Requirements

Specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in Bank Treasury Products.
Ability to handle complex issues with a high degree of latitude.
Ability to build collaborative relationships.
Customer/client orientation mindset.
Analytical thinking and computer skills combined with technical know-how.
Project scheduling and project management skills.
Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
3+ years of related experience in banking and treasury products.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Understanding of client/server computing architecture, user interfaces, and application programming interfaces.
Knowledge of relational databases with the ability to write SQL queries.

Experience leading functional teams or projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in banking and treasury products.
