About the Role

The Brand and Advertising Specialist is responsible for supporting the planning and execution of advertising campaigns and brand projects that build awareness, increase brand reputation, and drive business growth across the enterprise. This role ensures brand consistency across all communications and collaborates with various teams and external agencies to implement strategic programs targeting client acquisition, retention, revenue growth, and referred business. The position involves campaign measurement, brand governance, and playing a key role in making sure the brand appears in a cohesive and impactful way. It is a hybrid role, primarily based in Raleigh, NC or Phoenix, AZ, with options for remote work for highly qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a project manager and advertising agency point of contact for advertising campaigns, including trafficking of creative.
  • Keep key constituents in the loop on schedules, approvals, and feedback deadlines, setting up relevant meetings and reviews, and disseminating meeting notes.
  • Assist with IP management including validation of expiring trademarks and domains, documentation, and tracking of cost savings over time.
  • Work closely with various marketing partners such as strategic leads, digital, communications, operations, events, and creative content to amplify campaign communications.
  • Manage expectations of all audiences throughout bank-sponsored communications.
  • Partner with media and analytics teams to optimize advertising campaigns, monitor media measurement and creative performance, and recommend creative refreshes based on in-market performance.
  • Cross-partner with internal Analytics team to deliver on campaign metrics.
  • Ensure all materials are approved and filed within the asset management system for legal and compliance purposes.
  • Support finance lead by ensuring agency billing and internal PO management are on-time, on-target, and accurate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of experience OR High School Diploma or GED and 5-7 years of experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant and progressively more responsible experience within a marketing-driven organization.
  • Knowledge of advertising/paid mediums, development, and delivery of multichannel campaigns.
  • Strong analytical, collaboration, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Successfully demonstrated project management experience.
  • Computer skills in MS Office.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate across functions.

Nice to Have

  • Prior advertising agency experience.
  • Bachelor's degree with a concentration in Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications or equivalent experience.
