Business Development Leader - Interconnect Solutions

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Form strong external relationships at the Senior Engineering levels in the Market, including existing and potential partnerships with OEMs, fabricators, and data center projects.
• Complete market analysis and develop business cases for new opportunities.
• Investigate, monitor, and refine Voice of Customer data through the customer's product development cycle by engaging with OEMs and fabricators.
• Determine value propositions for key end-use segments and provide/refine Critical to Quality assessments for product development.
• Work with internal and external teams to drive business development for existing and new products from ideation through to revenue, including collaboration with Applications, Technology, Product Management, Supply, and Sales teams.
• Develop and own short- and long-term business development plans and manage the ongoing development pipeline.
• Research competitors and their offerings to identify advantages, risks, and forecast potential responses, along with developing mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to contract negotiation and execution in collaboration with the Legal team.
• Travel as needed for work-related activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Commercial Operations, including Sales, Business Development, Account Management, Marketing, or Strategy.
• Deep expertise in new business development, especially prospecting and developing net-new opportunities.
• Proven track record of driving execution and delivering on business commitments.
• Ability to work as a team player with cross-functional and cross-country teams in a global organization.
• Self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset, comfortable working with ambiguity.
• Ability to operate in a self-motivated and detail-oriented manner with excellent analytical skills.
• Strong communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages such as Mandarin Chinese is a plus.

Nice to Have

• Completion of a degree in a technical discipline such as Electrical Engineering.
• Additional completion of an MBA is a plus.
• Experience in the Electronics industry, preferably with high-frequency and high-speed data applications.
• Experience working in flexible circuits and/or Printed Circuit Board (PCB) industries.
• Creative problem-solving skills and a track record of developing innovative business solutions.
• Ability to build and grow trusted professional relationships with key customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Educational background including a Bachelor's degree; technical discipline preferred.
• Professional experience in relevant fields as specified in requirements.
