Key Responsibilities

  • Implementation of New Product Innovation (NPI) Strategy in NAM
  • Organize, plan and lead new product launches and registrations
  • Coordinate beta trials and new product launch with the Sales and Technical Team
  • Manage, protect and ensure promotion and delivery of innovation projects to achieve business objectives for new product / applications launches
  • Manage cross-functional sub-teams in NPI Projects
  • Focus on Customer's quantifiable unmet needs to generate innovation projects
  • Manage relationships with technical teams at customers
  • Identify new leading areas of Research and Innovation with R/I Team
  • Meet project milestones and sales/margin targets
  • Drive market share (segment) growth
  • Network with decision makers
  • Stay updated on developments in the target industry
  • Gather and update customer unmet needs twice a year
  • Achieve business objectives for new business launches
  • Implement new product innovation strategies that drive revenue, profit margin, and market share growth

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field
  • Specialty in Polymers preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in Marketing/Sales in polymers or polymer additives
  • Experience in engaging, developing and commercializing new accounts
  • Ability to assemble a coherent and focused regional growth plan
  • Ability to travel

  • Experience with new product development and launch processes
  • Strong network within the industry
  • Technical knowledge related to polymers and innovations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in relevant industry
