Key Responsibilities

  • Expand market penetration for the assigned region or customers in the Pulp & Paper and Water industry.
  • Identify new customers and opportunities within the region and grow the business while reinforcing the Solenis brand.
  • Lead the creation and implementation of sales initiatives aligned with the Corporate Accounts team growth strategy to expand market share.
  • Drive new product introductions as a key component of new customer acquisition strategy.
  • Develop market intelligence and provide feedback to marketing and technology teams.
  • Develop and foster relationships with key executives and strategic customers.
  • Manage a base of business ranging from very little to large, with an aggressive and achievable revenue growth target.
  • Create annual business development plans and strategies to meet business objectives and revenue targets.
  • Work closely with account managers to understand business requirements and market needs.
  • Recognize new market segments and opportunities, evaluate returns and investments, and gain approval for development actions.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Alternatively, 6 years of experience with a Master's degree or 3 years with a PhD.
  • Experience in developing business development strategies and creating annual plans.
  • Ability to recognize new market segments and opportunities.
  • Experience using professional concepts and resolving complex issues creatively and effectively.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience, or 6 years with a Master's, or 3 years with a PhD
