About the Role

Infosys BPM is seeking an Associate Business Development Manager responsible for client interfaces within the assigned account scope. The role involves building target account lists, proactive pursuit plans, managing RFPs, and expanding the company's brand and footprint in the SURE industry. The position is client-facing, requires business travel, and aims to generate significant signed TCV annually by leveraging industry expertise and market intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage a sales pipeline, convert prospective conversations into opportunities, and close deals.
  • Own the opportunity management cycle: Prospect-Evaluate-Propose-Close.
  • Collaborate with delivery and solution design stakeholders to build solutions and contracts that fulfill commitments and mitigate risks.
  • Liaise with the wider Infosys sales ecosystem and external stakeholders like analysts and consultants to evangelize BPM offerings and develop opportunities.
  • Respond to all customer queries regarding BPM offerings within the SURE practice.
  • Collaborate with various Infosys teams to build solutions and grow BPM offerings.
  • Liaise with Solution Design teams to ensure timely and quality responses to RFXs.
  • Conduct competitor analysis, monitor market trends, and gather business intelligence.
  • Manage client relationships and proactively pursue new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate on proposal creation, including solution design, pricing, and terms.
  • Present solutions and credentials to clients during Orals and industry events.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution, or three years of progressive experience in the specialty.
  • 7+ years of experience with strong sales, relationship management, or account management background.
  • Experience in BPM or IT-enabled Services.
  • Track record of engaging with CXO-level client contacts.
  • Hands-on experience with proposal creation and leading proposal presentations.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience managing large, multi-location consulting engagement teams.
  • Global Delivery Model experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively via telephone, email, or face-to-face, and work extended hours as needed.

Nice to Have

  • Significant business development and project management experience.
  • Wide variety of IT, BPM, or business consulting engagement experience.
  • Experience managing large multi-location consulting teams.
  • Track record as an Account Manager in a rapidly growing client relationship.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution.
  • Will consider three years of progressive experience in lieu of every year of education.
