About the Role

Eide Bailly is actively seeking a results-driven Business Developer to expand our Data Analytics and AI advisory services. This role focuses on identifying, pursuing, and closing opportunities that help mid-market clients modernize their business through data platforms, automation, and intelligent analytics. The position involves working closely with internal technical teams and external partners like Microsoft, Snowflake, Workato, and Boomi to build transformative solutions that enhance client operations and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively generate new business opportunities for data warehouse, analytics, and AI readiness solutions.
  • Build relationships with key client stakeholders (CIO, CFO, COO, VP of Ops, Data Leaders) to uncover and shape business needs.
  • Qualify leads, lead solutioning discussions, and manage deals through the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to close.
  • Partner closely with internal delivery teams (Data & AI, Integration, and IT Consulting) to align solution strategy with business value.
  • Collaborate with key vendor/channel partners to drive joint go-to-market motions and source referrals.
  • Represent Eide Bailly at industry events, partner showcases, client webinars, and demand generation campaigns.
  • Maintain CRM discipline for tracking pipeline health, opportunity stages, forecast accuracy, and lead quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of consultative sales or business development experience, preferably in analytics, AI, cloud integration, or digital transformation.
  • Understanding of data architectures, ETL/integration platforms, and AI-enabling technologies such as Snowflake, Azure, Power BI, or similar.
  • Skilled in executive-level conversations and building credibility with mid-market and enterprise decision-makers.
  • Experience partnering with technology vendors and understanding co-selling/channel motions; previous alliance experience is a plus.
  • Experience working in a professional services or LLP environment, or confidence navigating a relationship- and service-driven sales model.
  • Proactive, organized, and able to thrive in a team-oriented, collaborative selling environment.
  • Comfortable with periodic travel for client meetings, partner events, and conferences.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric).
  • Understanding of generative AI or machine learning use cases for business.
  • Experience building account plans and working cross-functionally with consulting teams.
