Key Responsibilities

  • Source and close commercial partnerships that drive revenue growth for Rippling IT and Spend, which are two of the fastest growing Rippling product lines.
  • Identify and execute whitespace partner opportunities that complement Rippling IT and Spend - from building the business case, structuring the deal, to internal alignment.
  • Support and accelerate existing commercial partnerships, including driving activation with sales and marketing and working quickly to resolve challenges that may arise.
  • Partner with key internal stakeholders across product, marketing, operations, and legal to assess feasibility of potential partnerships and drive implementation.
  • Serve as a thought leader across the company on what's happening in the surrounding partner ecosystems through market research and competitive analysis.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience including 2+ years in business development, strategic partnerships or corporate development; prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, strategic finance, or business operations preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of sourcing and closing commercial partnerships.
  • Familiarity with API-based integrations and platform-led B2B software.
  • Ability to structure and model the financial impacts of partnerships on the business.
  • Strong communication skills, including executive communication and partner storytelling.
  • Self-starter who needs minimal direction in an ambiguous context to drive action.
  • Willingness to operate at all attitudes; do not view any problem as below them.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience in management consulting, investment banking, strategic finance, or business operations.
