About the Role

We're seeking an ambitious, early-career Business Development Representative to join our growing sales team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about the creative operations world who wants to build their career in B2B sales while working with cutting-edge creative technology. This position reports to the head of sales for both Globaledit and our sister brand Industrial Color.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential clients across fashion, retail, media, and lifestyle brands
  • Build targeted prospect lists using our internal data as well as external intelligence platforms
  • Execute outbound prospecting campaigns via email, in person events, and social media (LinkedIn mainly)
  • Collaborate with marketing team on lead nurturing campaigns
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities (virtual and in-person)
  • Qualify inbound leads and marketing-generated inquiries
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect pain points and creative workflow challenges
  • Articulate Globaledit's value proposition to creative professionals and decision-makers
  • Lead product demonstrations and handle objections throughout the sales process
  • Own full sales cycle for smaller accounts and collaborate on enterprise deals
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospect interactions in CRM (Salesforce)

Requirements

  • Self-directed and proactive - able to manage a deal pipeline against your goals with minimal oversight
  • Strong communication skills - comfortably communicate technical product information clearly through written and verbal communication
  • Genuine curiosity - eager to learn about creative operations and the challenges prospects are facing in their day-to-day workflows
  • Resilience - ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude
  • Tech-savvy - comfortable learning new software platforms and tools
  • Ability to write copy for sequences of emails to engage prospects
  • Proficient in key business software including MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
