About the Role

The Business Development Sales Representative at AdventHealth Hospice is responsible for establishing partnerships and generating home health referral growth for the Central Florida Division-Home Care Agency. The role involves making effective sales contacts, calls, and presentations, serving as the agency staff liaison with physicians, facilities, discharge planners, and community agencies. It focuses on the overall development and referral growth of the assigned territory, supporting the mission of extending the healing ministry of Christ and promoting community well-being.

Key Responsibilities

Provides direct sales and marketing of Home-Based Service to assigned area.
Responsible for the overall development and referral growth of assigned territory, including facilities, physicians, home care providers, and community agencies.
Develops, implements, and evaluates quarterly and annual territory plans to achieve growth goals and to implement agreed upon strategies and actions.
Develops business relationships with providers by making effective sales calls and presentations to targeted referral sources.
Maintains professional and clinical knowledge of provider services and acts as liaison between referral partners and the agency to communicate information about new products, programs, and service delivery.
Meets with patients and families to discuss home health and/or hospice and palliative care services, individual needs/concerns, and manage expectations; obtains signed consent documents.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience.
Valid in-state Driver's License with current car insurance.

Nice to Have

Healthcare and/or hospice experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience.
Preferred qualifications include healthcare and/or hospice experience.
