About the Role

The Business Intelligence Analyst designs, develops, and maintains logistics-focused business metrics and reporting solutions using Power BI. They work closely with stakeholders to define KPIs, create dynamic dashboards, and provide actionable insights. The role involves supporting user adoption through training and communication, collaborating on process improvements, and recommending predictive analytics or AI solutions to enhance logistics data analysis.

Key Responsibilities

Develops Power BI reports and dashboards based on operational KPIs.
Collaborates with departments to define and refine metrics.
Optimizes SQL queries and manages data models for reporting.
Promotes and trains users on BI tools and dashboards.
Customizes reports to department-specific needs.
Supports logistics data analysis and insights.
Collaborates on process improvement using data.
Recommends predictive analytics/AI solutions.
Maintains documentation and procedures.
Coordinates with IT on system integration and support.
Performs all other related duties as requested.

Requirements

Proficiency in Power BI dashboard design.
Strong SQL Server, data modeling, query optimization skills.
Analytical thinking for logistics/supply chain KPIs.
Clear communication and user training skills.
Understanding of business processes and data visualization.
Familiarity with AI techniques such as predictive analytics.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years in systems analytics and reporting.
Valid Local Driver's License and Valid Passport.
Ability to travel approximately 10% to Tropical Shipping Port Locations.
Physical ability to perform repetitive motion tasks on a computer and sit for extended periods.
