About the Role

The Trade Desk is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst II to analyze external advertising intelligence data, evaluate market share trends, develop dashboards, and support product development initiatives. The role involves collaborating with stakeholders and engineering teams to gather requirements, automate data collection, and provide insights to influence business outcomes. Key Responsibilities

Identify and analyze external advertising intelligence data to understand market share trends and make recommendations to increase market share.
Evaluate the success of new releases using data and related KPIs, collaborating with Product subject matter experts to develop Key Performance Indicators.
Develop and maintain dashboards in a production environment to enable information sharing at scale for stakeholders.
Provide benchmarking insights by geography and industry.
Proactively analyze The Trade Desk products and features to inform product development initiatives.
Respond in a timely manner to ad hoc requests for data and quick turnaround analyses for stakeholders, including automation of data collection and reporting.
Gather stakeholder requirements, collaborate with the Engineering Team to develop datasets, and build relevant dashboards.
Assist in defining requirements for the data pipeline to incorporate large datasets from multiple sources to support report development.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Business Intelligence, Economics, or a related field.
Four (4) years of experience in data extraction, visualization, analysis, project delivery, and presenting data stories.
Experience with data extraction tools, including writing and modifying optimized SQL code.
Experience with data visualization, understanding requirements, building mockups, and delivering dashboards.
Experience with data analysis, extracting and analyzing data, and providing insights to influence business outcomes.
Experience with project delivery, cost estimate evaluations, and managing stakeholder expectations in a scrum team.
Proficiency in presenting data stories using PowerPoint and dashboards.
Three (3) years of experience with big data tools, manipulating large datasets, and programming languages for data extraction, analysis, and loading.

Experience with programming languages used for data extraction, analysis, and loading.
Experience working with large datasets and big data tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Four (4) years of related experience in data analysis, visualization, and project delivery.
