Business Solutions Architect I - Phoenix, AZ

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Provide architecting and project management functions for application platforms and serve as a liaison with the business to define requirements and translate them into system solutions.
• Analyze existing and proposed systems, implement, integrate, monitor, and optimize strategies, processes, systems, and methodologies to support business operations and initiatives.
• Ensure system analysis designs and process maps are documented and communicated with Business Executives and Senior Management.
• Work closely with global business areas to define MIS requirements and evaluate system solution options.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to identify key suppliers, strategic alliances, and process improvements.
• Support business process owners to understand tactical and strategic plans to support operations.
• Work with project teams on building and executing business systems project plans and support.
• Address user satisfaction issues within assigned business processes and lead resolution efforts.
• Assist with production support, including system configuration, monitoring, and interface updates.
• Provide business-centric expertise to global MIS projects.
• Analyze business and systems needs in terms of functional and technical requirements.
• Support and promote MIS strategy aligned with business processes and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and three (3) years of experience in an Information Services, Process Technology field.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures in English.
• Ability to communicate in English regarding job assignments, procedures, and safety standards.
• Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk frequently.
• Ability to lift and carry up to ten (10) pounds frequently.
• Willingness to work varied hours based on project demands.
• Personal protective equipment is required when working in mines, outdoor, or manufacturing environments, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, respirator, gloves, and protective clothing.
• Must pass pre-employment drug testing and comply with ongoing random drug testing policies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a bachelor's degree and three years of experience in an Information Services or Process Technology field.
