About the Role

As Director, Air Mobility International Campaigns, this position will be responsible for leading the International Air Mobility Business Development team in closing worldwide Air Mobility new business, including opportunity identification, contract negotiations, contract awards, and follow-on efforts for all C-130J FMS or DCS programs. The role involves managing existing business, new aircraft sales, and legacy C-130 programs, with a product portfolio that includes legacy C-130, C-130J, and Mobility elements related to OneLM, JADC2, and 21st Century Security. Internally, this position will collaborate closely with finance, engineering, program management, contracts, and Aero leadership to develop and close competitive offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the International Air Mobility Business Development team in securing new business opportunities worldwide.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from opportunity identification through contract negotiations, award, and follow-on efforts.
  • Oversee existing business, new aircraft sales, and legacy C-130 programs.
  • Collaborate with internal functions such as finance, engineering, program management, contracts, and leadership to develop competitive offerings.
  • Work closely with military and foreign government customers to establish and maintain international relationships.
  • Develop strategies and plans for business growth and articulate them to executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Experience in international business with military and foreign governments, with a proven track record of order capture.
  • Experience with U.S. Government Foreign Military Sales (FMS) contracting process and knowledge of Direct Commercial Sales (DCS).
  • Experience with budget management and use of New Business Funds (NBF) allocations.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S. as a permanent resident.
  • Ability to manage, coach, train, and motivate teams in technical and leadership development.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to address complex matters with senior leadership.
  • Experience leading large enterprise mission-based initiatives.
  • Experience in establishing international relationships with Air Mobility customers.

Nice to Have

  • Global business experience working with military international customers.
  • Previous U.S. Air Force Air Mobility experience, particularly in SAF/IA.
  • Experience leading teams through complex business issues.

Qualifications

  • Experience in international military business and foreign government relations.
  • Proven success in order capture and sales negotiations.
  • Knowledge of U.S. Government FMS and DCS processes.
  • Experience with budget management and NBF allocations.
