About the Role

Arc Broward is seeking an experienced and driven Catering Sales Manager to lead sales efforts for their social enterprise, Arc Culinary — a mission-driven catering business that empowers individuals with disabilities and life challenges through culinary training and employment. The role involves managing catering events, client communication, contract drafting, and executing sales strategies within a supportive, mission-driven environment rooted in empowerment and inclusion.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate and direct team members to execute catering events with attention to detail.
Respond to guests requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
Draft and execute contracts between parties.
Ensure special requests are fulfilled.
Remain in close contact with clients and potential clients from the planning stages and continued after events.
Meet sales goals; target number of bookings and/or client contacts.
Ensure execution of the developed sales strategies, plans and advertising or promotional programs.
Ensure activities are in accordance with the developed sales objectives.
Evaluate and provide analysis to management for new products and local market opportunities.

Requirements

Prior experience in a sales and marketing role in a hospitality setting.
Minimum of five years' experience as a Catering Manager, or equivalent industry experience.
Well versed in menu planning, food knowledge, contract negotiating, business planning and execution.
Experience using CRM/event management software.
Must be fluent in the use of Tripleseat.
Must successfully complete required screening: Level II background check, physical and drug screen.
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) Certification preferred.

Experience with Caterease software.
