Cboe Labs Intern - Research and Product Development

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in development of novel derivatives products, from ideation to product launch.
• Perform extensive research and analysis using Cboe's expansive collection of data in order to drive decision making.
• Gain in-depth exposure and understanding of Cboe's current derivative offerings.
• Lead, design, and implement an independent project to develop product knowledge and project management skills, with opportunities to present to Cboe leadership and teammates.

Requirements

• Pursuing a degree in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field and should not be scheduled to graduate before December of the internship year.
• Knowledge/interest in global financial markets, specifically derivatives.
• Innovative problem solver and fast learner.
• Proficiency in Python (both functional and object-oriented programming), SQL, and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong written/verbal communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Prior experience with index and equity options.
• Research experience.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a university or college program during the internship period.
• Should not be scheduled to graduate before December of the internship year.
