About the Role

The Channel Cross-functional Manager, Platforms at Apple will act as a key point of integration and accountability for Apple's in-store initiatives, including physical and digital experiences in both Apple and partner spaces globally. This role involves defining digital and physical touch points to enhance product go-to-market strategies, collaborating with key partners, and ensuring the flawless creation and delivery of creative work that inspires customers and propels Apple's commerce worldwide. The position requires working across teams within and outside of Marcom to influence and lead global in-store initiatives, advocate for channel work, and ensure alignment with Apple standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent Channel and serve as an integrator for the work by understanding the goals of Channel within Marcom and advocating across the company.
  • Proactively partner with all Marcom teams, product marketing, and sales teams to build deep relationships, educate teams on the channel landscape, and ensure ongoing alignment of deliverables from brief to execution.
  • Define the Channel Roadmap and Strategy by synthesizing inputs, facilitating alignment on briefs and strategies, and developing strategic project plans.
  • Ensure work is tracked, flawless, and on-time by providing oversight throughout the creative process, maintaining status documents, Plan of Records, meeting invites, and deliverable trackers.
  • Seek insights and evolve the work by partnering with geo and business leads to understand drivers, and identify new ways of working to adapt marketing outputs as strategies and landscapes evolve.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of marketing communications experience at an advertising, marketing, or design agency, or in-house marketing team.
  • Experience in brand communications, from strategy to execution.
  • Experience in client-facing or stakeholder management roles such as account director, producer, or in-house marketing management.
  • Ability to understand customer behavior in-store and pull insights from relevant teams and partnerships.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization with effectiveness working autonomously and under pressure.
  • Experience delivering and representing integrated marketing initiatives across various formats and deliverables.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills for effective communication with a broad range of collaborators.
  • Proactive, organized, resourceful, adaptable, results-oriented, and capable of solving complex problems positively.
  • Hands-on experience working with creative, product merchandising, business, and production teams; retail brand marketing experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to collaborate, build rapport, credibility, and influence across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with global brand and team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of management experience in marketing communications or related fields.
