About the Role

We are seeking a VP, Channel Marketing Manager at State Street Global Advisors to develop and execute marketing programs that increase awareness, consideration, and purchase of our SPDR Sector ETFs. The role involves leading multi-channel, integrated marketing campaigns and collaborating with various internal teams to align messaging and strategy. Based in Boston, MA, this position offers an opportunity to work within a globally recognized asset management firm committed to responsible investing and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage data and business intelligence to create relevant, scalable, and repeatable integrated marketing programs and key deliverables for the SPDR Sector ETF suite targeting intermediary and institutional clients.
  • Partner with stakeholders on product materials, product positioning, capabilities messaging, presentations, webinars, web presence, and segmented communications to relevant audiences.
  • Build and lead marketing efforts for intermediary and institutional investment themes, managing all touch points to ensure consistency of messaging and voice.
  • Develop and update SPDR Sector ETF collateral, videos, web content, sales tools, and educational materials for general or firm-specific needs.
  • Measure and optimize marketing campaigns to ensure effectiveness against KPIs, target audience reach, and ROI.
  • Manage the marketing budget for SPDR Sector ETFs according to marketing plans.
  • Collaborate with the PR team to create earned media opportunities.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with equity markets and sectors, portfolio construction principles, and ETF structure.
  • In-depth understanding of registered product distribution and relevant FINRA and SEC marketing rules.
  • Experience marketing to broker dealers, RIAs, home offices, and TAMPs.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to confidently interact with and influence stakeholders.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate to drive results.
  • Strategic thinking and creativity in approach.
  • Proficiency with CRM and reporting systems such as Salesforce, Adobe, Tableau, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant marketing experience, preferably in financial services or product marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or communications.
