Developer Strategy Manager

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Own the AI Developer Vertical: Be the marketing lead and strategist for AI developers. Define the positioning, audience segmentation, and messaging that makes Arm a must-have for AI innovation, in alignment with broader developer marketing initiatives.
• Work with Leadership Across Arm: Partner closely with senior leaders across engineering, product, and business units to align developer marketing goals with company-wide AI priorities and roadmaps, ensuring your vertical strategy complements the work of Developer Growth & Developer Experience teams.
• Ecosystem Growth: Collaborate with Arm's partnerships team to identify and activate promising ecosystem partners. Coordinate with enterprise functions in order to demonstrate co-marketing opportunities, integrations, and joint GTM efforts to expand developer reach and credibility.
• Build and Implement Go-to-Market Plans: Launch and grow campaigns that introduce new AI tools, frameworks, and developer offerings in collaboration with Developer Growth, events, and campaign teams. Drive pipeline, usage, and community growth across multiple channels.
• Fuel Ecosystem Engagement: Develop programs and partnerships that grow developer participation in Arm's AI ecosystem—through events, communities, influencer marketing, and content activations—working hand-in-hand with Developer Experience and enterprise event teams.
• Drive Feedback Loops: Collect, analyze, and act on developer feedback to refine positioning, influence roadmaps, and improve developer experience. Be the voice of the AI developer inside Arm, sharing insights with Developer Experience teams to improve the overall developer experience.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with product marketing, engineering, dev rel, content, brand, events, and ecosystem teams to ensure consistent and impactful execution across all touchpoints, serving as the AI vertical expert within a broader collaborative framework.

Requirements

• A wealth of experience spanning over 5+ years in developer marketing, technical marketing, or a related role within the semiconductor or tech industry.
• Technical expertise in AI with hands-on development and/or engineering experience.
• Deep familiarity with semiconductors and their role in the developer ecosystem.
• Strong technical writing and interpersonal skills, with an established proficiency to translate technical concepts into compelling content for developers.
• Experience driving engagement at developer events, conferences, as well as community engagement strategies.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with product teams, marketing teams, and developer relations.
• Motivated by encouraging a vibrant and inclusive developer community and ecosystem.

Nice to Have

• Understanding or the Arm architecture, product portfolio, and ecosystem.
• Ability to brainstorm and conceptualize developer solutions and tooling to mentor the Arm software roadmap.

Qualifications

• Experience in developer marketing, technical marketing, or related roles within the tech industry.
