About the Role

The Chief Customer Officer, Marketing Cloud at Salesforce is a leadership role responsible for guiding customer success, driving product adoption, and enabling business growth through sales and partner success. Key Responsibilities

  • Drive Product Adoption by leading the development and distribution of AI and agent-based self-service guides, programs, and tools for onboarding, product transitions, and best practices.

  • Develop vision demos and architectural illustrations to enhance customer communications and self-service resources.
  • Coordinate with Product Management, Engineering, Customer Success, Product Marketing, and Sales to promote adoption initiatives.
  • Lead GTM Programs for Marketing Cloud by managing 'Run the Business' programs with Product Marketing, Sales Operations, Distribution Leaders, and Partner Liaisons.
  • Ensure ongoing alignment between product strategy and GTM efforts, maintaining pipeline growth, ACV, retention, and adoption.
  • Build scalable programs for sales enablement, including demo environments and solution engineering support.
  • Develop and execute enablement strategies for internal teams and partners on Marketing Cloud solutions and value propositions.
  • Manage and resolve sales escalations efficiently, utilizing AI and agents to scale resolution processes.
  • Establish deal support processes and create roadmap enablement programs for stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of senior leadership experience, including at least 5 years in sales leadership and 5 years working with marketing or customer experience technologies in enterprise software.
  • Proven success in driving ACV growth through sales and partner programs.
  • Experience working with sales teams (Account Executives, Solution Engineers) and channel partners.
  • Strong knowledge of Marketing Cloud technologies and the broader MarTech landscape.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to program execution.
  • Experience managing complex projects and delivering results in fast-paced environments.
