Key Responsibilities

Design and develop secure, scalable cloud-based software solutions
Conduct requirements analysis, system integration, and performance evaluation
Enhance and sustain complex systems supporting national defense
Troubleshoot, validate, and resolve software and infrastructure issues
Collaborate with top engineers, analysts, and mission leaders

Requirements

Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph
A minimum of eight years of experience in software development/engineering, including requirements analysis, software development, installation, integration, evaluation, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and problem diagnosis/resolution
A minimum of six years of experience developing software with high level languages such as Java, C, C++
A minimum of five years of experience developing software for UNIX/Linux (Redhat versions 3-5) operating systems
A minimum of three years of experience in software integration and software Unit Testing, including developing and implementing test plans and test scripts
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (or four additional years of experience in lieu of degree)
A Master's degree in a technical field can be considered equivalent to two years towards the experience requirement
One of the following certifications: AWS Certified Developer - Associate, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)

Nice to Have

Strong proficiency in AWS SDKs and APIs
Expertise in designing scalable, efficient AWS Cloud Architectures
Experience performing AWS Well Architected Framework Reviews
Hands-on experience with AWS cloud, serverless architecture, and cloud application deployment
Deep understanding of AWS services and leveraging them for innovation
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
Skilled in CI/CD testing
Familiarity with AWS Pricing Calculator and Cost Explorer
Experience with CloudWatch and CloudTrail
Experience with GitLab for version control
