About the Role

We can't predict what the future holds, but we know Texas Instruments will have a part in shaping it. In your first year with TI, you will participate in the Career Accelerator Program (CAP), which provides professional training and resources to accelerate your ramp into TI and set you up for long-term career success. Within this program, we also offer function-specific training and on-the-job learning opportunities that will encourage you to solve problems through a variety of hands-on, meaningful experiences from your very first day on the job. As a CAP participant in Communications, you will have the opportunity to develop critical skills for a career in Communications and Brand Marketing, such as developing a communications strategy, global campaign plans, thought leadership programs, content creation and storytelling, project management and channel expertise. You will work with corporate communications, brand marketing, creative project management, giving and volunteering, employee and executive communications, and more, creating content for social media, promoting TI to recruit employees, gaining experience in crisis communications, and building internal communications programs to engage employees.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop a communications strategy, global campaign plans, and thought leadership programs.
  • Create content such as blogs, videos, intranet content, and presentations.
  • Promote TI through channels like social media, email, search, paid advertising, and media relations.
  • Manage projects and coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute communication and marketing plans.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and develop strong working relationships within TI.
  • Help develop internal communications programs to engage employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or related field.
  • Cumulative 3.0 out of 4.0 GPA.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional, global teams.
  • Strong time management skills for on-time project delivery.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Inquisitive nature with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Aptitude for taking initiative and driving results.
  • Capable of working through ambiguity.

Nice to Have

  • Internship experience in related field.
  • Competency in building strong, influential relationships.
