Job Description

About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking an Analytics Senior Manager in Human Resources as part of the Conduct Analytics & Reporting (CAR) team within Conduct Management (CM). The manager will lead the CAR-Secondary Review team, execute secondary review processes across various environments/products, and enhance review processes through streamlining, prioritization, and automation. The role involves managing data quality activities, driving change, mentoring employees, engaging stakeholders, participating in audits, and ensuring compliance with data governance and policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the CAR Secondary Review process supporting the CM group to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives
  • Ensure the completion of data quality risk-mitigating activities including code development and testing, post-implementation testing, etc., ensuring products operate as intended and free from material defects
  • Enhance the secondary review process and workflow utilizing automated routines and techniques to improve capacity and turnaround times
  • Work in partnership with other leaders in the CAR organization to drive change and mentor/develop employees with diverse skillsets and backgrounds
  • Engage technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively
  • Participate in Audit engagements by providing detailed responses, overview discussions, and walkthroughs
  • Manage and develop a team of individual contributors to execute key initiatives and processes
  • Ensure adherence to data management, data governance regulations, policies, and compliance requirements
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Requirements

  • 6+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education
  • 3+ years of management or leadership experience
  • Proficiency in data modeling, data integrity, and data quality with best practice design concepts
  • Experience with data quality assurance
  • Experience with BI Reporting tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, Power BI
  • Experience with Teradata/Big Data
  • SQL or SAS experience
  • Experience with development tools like JIRA, Github
  • Ability to leverage and implement automation activities into existing processes
  • Experience managing virtual teams, including leading onshore and offshore employees
  • Strong analytical skills with high diligence and accuracy
  • Experience managing teams of data analysts producing high-quality, compliant results
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
